Frequently Asked Questions

Wondering about referrals, appointments or funding? Here are a few answers to help you take the next step.

View All FAQs

Do I need a referral to see a practitioner?

No, you do not have to have a referral. Should your therapy involve engaging with our Psychologist or Mental Health Social Worker, it is recommended that a GP Mental Health Treatment Plan is obtained which enables access to Medicare rebates which can reduce the out of pocket costs per session.

What happens after I enquire?

Our client care team will learn a little about what you need, explain fees and forms, and guide you through the intake process before an initial appointment is scheduled.

Are you an NDIS Provider?

No. However individuals with NDIS funding that are self-managed or plan-managed can utilise their funding at our service.

What is a child’s first appointment like?

The first appointment is usually for caregivers only, creating space to openly discuss concerns, development, strengths and goals before we recommend a way forward.

Do you offer online appointments?

Yes. Some services can be delivered online, depending on the client’s needs, age and the type of support. Our team can discuss the best option with you.
